Welcome to ShipRust

A Rust SaaS starter that gives your next app a head start.

What is ShipRust?

ShipRust is a starter codebase for building a SaaS app in Rust. It brings together server-rendered pages, a Postgres database, and email-and-password accounts so you can start with your product instead of a blank repository.

The app uses Axum for HTTP routing, Maud for HTML, and sqlx for database queries. It builds into one server binary, with no JavaScript build step.

From an idea to your own codebase

Use ShipRust to create a project with your app's name, choose its hosting setup, and choose features such as Blog, Docs, Sentry, and PostHog. Download the ZIP and run it on your machine. The generated source is yours to customize for your product.

The site you are using runs on the same core and authentication crates that come with your project.
