ShipRust License

Last updated October 14, 2026

ShipRust is commercial software, copyright LVTD LLC. This license applies to every project generated from shiprust.com by a paying account (the "Licensee").

You may

  • Use the code to build and operate any number of your own applications, commercial or not.
  • Modify it however you like, and keep your modifications private.
  • Build applications for clients, as long as you deliver the finished application, not the starter.
  • Let your team, employees and contractors work on those applications.

You may not

  • Redistribute, resell or sublicense the code, in whole or in part, outside the applications you build.
  • Publish it, or a derivative, as a template, starter kit, boilerplate or code generator.
  • Share generated projects publicly in a way that lets others use them without buying a license.

Open-source dependencies

ShipRust uses open-source crates and libraries. They stay under their own licenses, which this license does not change.

Attribution

Generated apps include an optional "Built with ShipRust" link in the footer. You are welcome to keep it or remove it.

Termination

This license ends if you breach it or receive a refund. When it ends, stop using and delete the code.

No warranty

The code is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. See the Terms of Service for the limitation of liability.
